Black Dog Scotch & Wine Pairing - Cocktail it's best!

Well, as the adage goes, "Life begins at forty ", that would make you think...eh? Life is full a potpourri of emotions. I hope you will Keep blogs rolling?

Very unlike wine, that takes up more of the olfactory senses, In the case of Scotch, it will be Black Dog, the finest offerings need to be enjoyed in the right proportions!!!

Citation Charles MacClean- “Over all they have an 'old fashioned' feel and most seem older than their age statements. I don't know where I'd place them in a blind tasting - probably Scotch malt, but they all have a fresh acidity which combines very well with maturation in none-to-active casks.”

Noses and tastes older than 18 years – there is something intriguingly ‘antique', guess what I have been talking about?? Black Dog Scotch's luxury portfolio- Black Dog 18 has yet again proved to be the finest of scotches by winning the Gold award at the MUNDUS Vini ISW International Spirits Awards 2011 held at Germany

This is the third Gold Award won by Black Dog 18 year old Whisky for its fine taste and smooth blend and I've gotten wacky to pair with Four Seasons Cabernet Sauvignon, the  deep purple color  with notes of deep black cherry red co lour  with a deep nose of strikingly fruity nose of blackcurrants and crushed berries combine with hints and smoke and tobacco. When it starts hitting the palate, one can get the structured, good concentration of smooth tannins. When both are paired, the finish is something out of the world :)
