An Invitation to slow down!! 

We were enthusiastic about the spirit of Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, offering to celebrate #Christmas & end-of-year celebration🎉🎄 

Well, we have been to Mysore, on several occasions, starting my baccalaureate days. I've stayed twice at Country Inn & Suites by Carlson & as recent as 2016 Christmas weekend, stay-cation! It was all about relaxation & destress from the hustle & bustle of daily drill. A mere 20-km drive away from the Mysore city center and palace is the perfect weekend getaway, from Bangalore, far from the maddening crowd. 

 As a business traveler, I have stayed in many properties around the world , I always wish to have the lounge & premium access! We were received in with such hospitality of humongous tender coconut & a bouquet of flowers... 

It was as though the reporting staff were meant to take "hospitality", to an all new high....

Superior rooms, to Junior & Executive Suites, I am sure you will find a comfort that’s right for you.So, when are you planning a trip to Mysore? 

 Aha- "Executive Suites" We were pampered with an Executive Suite, it was in fact room with a view, a private balcony, & exclusive access to the Club Lounge. We along with the little one were thrilled to see extras, the comfort of living like a Maharajah, luggage room, and complimentary offerings. If you are in for soaking in nature & detox, I highly recommend this room category because you’ll be staying on the first floor so you have an private balcony, that opens to the sky!

The property tour 

We were educated about the "Responsible Business" in terms of owing the responsibility for the environment and local community, in terms of reducing the energy & water consumption, & giving back to the society : charity . Also, in terms of educating the guests {visit being business or leisure}about the cultural heritage, that did leave us with a good feeling of stay & some thoughts to reflect

It was getting better with the facade & the towering building itself is so lovely & then there is a pool and a gym, we had a cheeky moment.... & those 48 hours was all about food, our "real attraction" , as a foodie!

Sangria's, Mock tails, Live counters, serving Aapams, with the best accompaniments, pastas, & a humongous buffet spread, with Turkey, Lobster, beef tenderloin , 1000 year egg congee, mashed potatoes, Christmas pudding, a typical traditional Christmas Dinner 

Christmas :Sunday Brunch @ Mosaic

Although we had a Lavish Buffet Spread  & Live Cooking Stations, Chef did take an extra mile by preparing signature dishes off the menu!& we were pampered to an all new high!
