Black Dog Comedy Evenings with Russell Peters

I am here to dabble my thoughts on Russell Peters Live! at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, event way back in 2007, is so fresh on my mind!!! Russell Peters is a comedy superstar with his recent one-off appearance at London's , still Shaw Theatre sold out in 48 hours. Russell has built a massive following by word of mouth completely bypassing mainstream media outlets. For the past few years he's been selling out theatres across the U.S and Canada, all without ever appearing on network television in the United States. So, he does stand up Comedy - Split Wide Open!!!

Russell Peters was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, of British and Indian ancestry. Professionally, he began performing stand-up comedy in Toronto in 1989, Started getting popular after the viral clips from Comedy Now! I've watched stand-up special, Russell Peters: Outsourced. In 2010, Peters wrote and released his autobiography, Call Me Russell.

Russell Peters' performances are mostly made up of "observational comedy" where he uses humor to highlight racial, ethnic, class and cultural stereotypes. He often refers to his own life experiences growing up in an Indian family and impersonates various English accents of different groups in his act to poke fun at each group!!!
